United StatesI didn't realize the location was further away from the city center of St. Joseph, I wished it was closer. It is about a 12-15 minute drive. Also, throughout the night I heard this loud quick banging a couple times, which I felt had to do with the A/C turning on and off, but it woke me up. Also, the hand soap dispenser wasn't fully filled, I felt like I had to push pretty hard to get that to come out.
The hotel facility seemed fairly new, the check in process was easy, friendly and knowledgeable staff, room felt compact but comfortable and parking was easy. The room had both black out and sheer blinds which made it comfortable. I was surprised that I didn't really hear the highway traffic as my room faced the highway.

United StatesMy third stay and found away around these 3 things I listed below. If you a light sleeper these 3 things could bother you 1-If you room is located on front side of building the Interstate noise travels through window possibly single pane windows very loud (ask for the back side right corner less noisy) 2-Light flashes bright on the ceiling located in the room by the wall hooks repeatedly will keep you up if facing that direction. 3-Thermostate clicks on and off loudly all night as Wall unit kicks on and off all night. Could not find a constant fan option to combat this situation (Tip bring a small travel fan to drown out noise made a huge difference)
Met my expectations. Staff was very helpful and polite. Breakfast had some great options. Will stay again

Staff was so helpful and kind! I left one of my phones behind in the room and they went out of their way to try to let me know, which I truly appreciated. As for the furniture and decoration, everything looks new and well taken care of. If you like bigger rooms this might not be the place for you but I think for business the size is just ideal. It had everything I needed!

United StatesWe brought our kids here to stay for one night so they could swim. We checked in and immediately changed into swimming suits and went down to the pool to find that it was closed. Nobody told us this at check in. The front desk person said they could reimburse us 100% but couldn’t since we booked through Booking.com. So I called Booking.com and they said we’d get a full refund the next business day. A month later we finally got reimbursed 50%. The hotel said we “used the room” so they wouldn’t give us the full amount. We were in the room for maybe 15 minutes. I will never use booking.com again or this hotel.

United StatesExit 23 on I94 is closed for construction. It was obvious that it had been closed for some time and would be closed for many more weeks. I wasn't given any warning by either Booking.com or Tru hotel that I would need to find an alternate route to the hotel. The front desk staff was "hilton snooty". I reminded them that I had asked for a room facing the back of the hotel - not the interstate. I was assured via email that the hotel could accommodate my request. They gave me a room facing the interstate. I had to call the front desk and insist that my room be changed. When I walked into my room I felt like I was walking into a closet. Because there wasn't a closet. The ironing board and iron were hanging on the wall like some art installation. The hangers were on a rod suspended from the ceiling. To save money there wasn't a microwave or coffee pot in the room. You had to use what was available in the lobby. The phone was stylish and slender but impossible to use. The handset was a rectangle perfectly fitted to the rest of the phone. So perfectly you could not pick it up. I had to turn the entire phone upside down so that the handset would fall away from the rest of the phone so that I could pick it up. Oh, and the person in the floor above finally stopped walking about about 12:30 a.m.
I liked the walk-in shower and the abundance of towels. The elevators were prompt. There was a working refrigerator.
