We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

United StatesThe breakfast was disappointing. The staff was nice, but cereal was all mixed and milk was not easily accessible. Would have been nice to have more options. Example, my kids (and I'm sure many kids) don't eat eggs with peppers so not much protein for them for a busy day in the city. Waffles were delicious. We paid $20 per person, which I thought was expensive for what we ate. The table in our room had a lamp on it, but the lamp's cord was too short to be plugged in so we couldn't use the lamp or the charging stations on it. The floor of the shower seemed really old and calcium built up. There were stains on our striped pillows.
The staff was pleasant. Front desk was helpful. We didn't call for more towels, but at around 8:30, someone came with extra supplies for us (towels, shampoo, etc). I thought that was nice, but kind of made me nervous (not expecting a knock at our door that late when my kids were sleeping). Front desk was willing to call me a cab to get to our show the next day.

United StatesThe floors in the room could have been cleaner. The shower and bathroom could have been cleaner. It was very clear that there was no good cleaning done after the last person, just a quick wipe down and replacing the soaps. The breakfast was very little. Mine was included in what I paid, but I would not pay $20 for that breakfast. The hotel attendant told me I could take my van out of the garage to load my things and return it so I could walk around for the rest of the day and she was wrong the garage attendant said once I take it no matter what time I paid until, I have to pay again to return. The wifi was not great.
The room was nice looking, with a great location, and quick check-in. The parking garage was a convenient distance.

United StatesThe hotel was as expected for our price, the hotel breakfast however was subpar. It was not as advertised at all. The menu lists items that were not available at all. The menu implies there were items you could order. The ONLY option was a buffet, and that was a very limited selection. There was literally bread, and no toaster, cereal that was mixed together in containers. For a $20 additional breakfast fee they need to step it up.
The hotel was good, and the location was good for our itinerary! Our room was clean.

United StatesThere was a difficult customer in front of me when I checked out and I had to wait 10 minutes while he complained. It literally took me a minute to check out.
The location was an easy walk from the train station and easy access to restaurants and other areas in Midtown. The bedroom was a nice size for 4 of us, and the bathroom was huge by NYC standards. Everything was neat and clean and the room was quiet. Also, it's right by a police precinct, so we felt very safe walking around the area.
