Took advantage of the UTV rental this time. This was our second stay with Tug Hill resort. The owners are helpful, approachable and invested in their guests. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The resort has a lot to offer in an absolutely beautiful location! Highly recommended.

Great place! The owners are very nice, and we felt very welcome. Room was very clean. Comfy beds. There's a fully equipped kitchen, we were able to bring and cook our own dinner, and they even provided a free breakfast for us, with a big variety of options to choose from. Beautiful natural surroundings, lake, forest and hiking trails.

A mom-and-pop place with very friendly and warm owners. There's a communal kitchen where there are some complimentary basic breakfast items you can help yourself to. The rooms are very clean, some of them are connected which is very handy when traveling with family. Such a gem at a great value.

CanadaIt was a real homely place for a relaxing overnight stay - a great break on our long journey. We were able to cook a simple family meal, sit and catch up by the fire pit, throw some horseshoes and frisbees and have a very peaceful night's sleep. The complimentary do-it-yourself breakfast was also a great touch. The owners and their dogs were super welcoming.

United StatesNothing really, just be prepared that this is an older small country resort, with dirt roads. Not a problem for us.
This country resort serves as a great place to stay to experience the area of the Salmon River. The newly updated room was very clean with super comfy bed. Self serve breakfast is a real plus. The owners are caring and attentive. The fire pit and outdoor grill to use made this basic but very wonderful spot a great place to feel like home whether you are fishing or hiking in area or doing quad riding. I hope to return.

United StatesThere is nothing that I didn't like. My boyfriend and I plan to come back in the winter for the dog sledding that they offer. We did not get a chance to see the trails in the back of the resort, but we will next time.
The resort is rustic and the grounds are beautiful. I love that you can rent ATV's and UTV's there. The breakfast is complimentary and you cook it yourself. The selection was fantastic. The grill is for use outside and the fire pit is perfect for late-night drinks by the fire while stargazing.

I loved the homey feel the location gave us. I also loved the use of the kitchen. It saves a lot of money to be able to cook meals ourselves instead of going out. The hike through the woods was beautiful, and meeting new people who were all there for the same reason.
