Building not well maintained. No elevator and dirt on stairs left not a good first impression. Shower water did not into sink fast enough/ outlet not clean. Water was standing in the tub. Breakfast was low quality.

It was a hassle getting a room. I booked a double queen room and when I went to check in, my room had been given away and I had been upgraded to a king suite. When I got in there I realized the two beds was the king bed and a sofa bed. This is not what I wanted. Sofa beds are not comfortable. Then I went back to change rooms and was only offered a double bed room. It was fine since I was just there to sleep, but not worth the hassle. Room seemed run down, especially the shower.

Breakfast was disappointing because offerings were not tasty, of a low quality and unhealthy. Many items contain high fructose corn syrup. Room was utilitarian with no pictures or rugs. Hard surface floors were so dirty that your feet got dirty walking around.

Spa tub in room was great after a long day of hiking in Joshua Tree National Park. Nice hot shower with plenty of towels. Room was spacious with ample seating and large TV.

Hotel is needs deep housekeeping. The room wasn’t clean like a hotel room should.. i don’t even think the my swept the room. Pool & gym were very dirty. Thin walls, you can hear everything plus fridge was loud, my drapes had a huge whole, the cabinet door to the mini fridge was broken & housekeeper left a used TP roll on. Shampoo, conditioner & body wash were almost out. The shower made a terrible noise. Lights arent bright enough.

Breakfast was pretty good. The location was good as well.

A pipe in the room we were staying in wasn't properly attached and water started to leak on the floor till I tightened the gasket. For the price I think the room could've been better.

The building set up, two or three different buildings not very well lit up between buildings. the stairwell in the back building was dark and trashy. It was very confusing I never found the pool building,? And breakfast was awful it was served at 5:30 to 9:00 I arrived at 6:15 powder eggs were cold , turkey bacon was way over microwaved.

The maintenance was below sub par. I got stabbed by one of the chairs, it had a sewing needle place in and it tore my skin. I have a picture. The staff was very nice. But the pool was mucky, the trashcans by the pool were full. Also the barstools in the breakfast room don't let you sit at the bar for the chairs and bar have no clearance between them.

I liked the layout of the facilities.

They didn’t tell us the water would be shut off. There was no hot water to shower in the evening or morning for our Sons Marine pinning. Not happy

There was no hot water in either sink or shower. It was either cold or tepid, never warm or hot. And there was poorly repaired water damage to walls next to the shower that gave the impression of poor maintenance. The toilet paper was flimsy and terrible. Bring your own. While breakfast was generally fine, both waffle machines worked poorly. I’ve seen the same kind in other hotels that worked fine. It seemed to be a problem with the batter, which was very thin, runny, and the waffle split in half and stuck to the waffle plates.

Breakfast was mostly adequate, and it had a good selection of fruit and yogurt. The bed was firm and comfortable. Sleeping on it was easy, especially with the excellent air conditioner. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom, sink, toilet, and shower were sparkling clean.

Very old and rundown. Looks like it’s never been updated for decades. Not clean, mold in shower, floor sticky, curtains stained.

Door lock was not working -- after a couple of times, we requested the manager to come to open the room -- somewhat unfriendly manager came and tried, the door still would not open. She used her keys to open the door. We requested her to give us a different room. She refused. We are luck that we had booked it for just on night -- we did not leave the room till we packed everything back into our car.
