Real scrambled eggs or an omelette with cheese or real hashbrowns or real gator tots. It seemed like fake food to me. I didn’t like any of it actually

I’m vegetarian and prefer non meat choices and I don’t prefer sugary foods like waffles or yogurt. I would have love a whole wheat bagel or apples bananas oatmeal with raisins and nuts to add.

The room class was only 2nd Floor, no elevator. I had my hip replaced recently and am avoiding stairs. The staff refused to make any accommodation for me. The door from the stairwell to the 2nd Floor hallway was torn off its hinges and leaning against the wall. The stairwell looked like several large birds were nesting in it with all the debris we had to walk through to get upstairs. Not a quality property at all.

Fridge didn't work. Tv channels and guide cumbersome, hard to find out what tv movies were on. Price way too high for the value. Some electric thing clicked on and off all night long.

When we went to our room we turned on the heater, but only cold air came out. We went to dinner thinking it would warm up while we were gone, but it never got the slightest bit warm. So we called the desk & explained our problem. They were aware of problems with the heater, but they said their rooms were sold out & they didn’t think they had any more blankets. However, shortly after our call one of the girls brought us a blanket she said she found in the laundry room. In the morning we tried to get a hot shower & the tub filled completely up during the shower. While trying to watch TV during the evening the cable went out so we tried to go to sleep despite the fact that we were forced to sleep in our clothes & jackets with our hoods up. We obviously couldn’t sleep well. We are contesting this transaction with our credit card company.

The two young women who were working at the facility were wonderful. Although we had to transact business through water dropping from the lobby ceiling, they were both lovely.

Rooms were bad - not clean - we staid 2 nights. First room had black mold all over in the bathroom. My wife got stuffed up as soon as we walked into the room. Flooring was all peeling and rough. Room was not clean either the bathroom nor the floor. We requested a room change for the 2nd night. 2nd room had a smaller bed not as comfortable. Bathroom had no mold and room was a little cleaner. However upon opening the door there was someone's old bandaid stuck to the floor. Yuck. This place is in bad need of an upgrade and of cleaning staff who know how to clean. This was definitely not up to Best Westerns standards. We were very disappointed.

Everything. Last night hot water disappeared and never returned the following morning when I checked out Place needs total rehab. Should not be operating. Security doors purposely kept open! Hallways and rooms had ceilings with water damage, piping revealed. Hot tub and swimming pool shut down!

FILTHY! Lied about having security patrolling every hour. Pool is closed. Drug users live here.

SO GROSS! Do not book! Druggies live in the hotel. I tried to stay here with my family as a naive Joshua Tree tourist. The room was so dirty I had to go buy Clorox wipes to clean the light switches and door handles and boogers wiped on the headboards.At midnight a fight about heroin and money broke in the room next ending with a woman sobbing at our door. The hotel lies about having security because when I called the front desk the poor lady had to investigate herself. I ended up loading my family in the car at 1 AM and calling the cops. Still waiting for my refund. Avoid this place. It should be condemned.

I understand your doing some updating but the back building was very unsafe. My mother had no smoke detector . I did tell you last year about how dirty the air conditioner unit was. I had to clean the filter in both of our rooms.

Location this is the third year we have stayed at the hotel. I was in the back building and my mother was afraid after a homeless man was in the hallway. I would like to see cameras and maybe doors locked.

The breakfast room was absolutely filthy. Dirt smeared on the walls, pigeon feathers stuck in the grease coating the wall, inches from the food. I don’t know how the sanitation department has not shut it down. We were disgusted. The room was not fully clean, remnants of hair and debris. The indoor lighting is depressing and the towels are nearly thread bare and so old they should be thrown out. Check in felt dangerous as a group of people were trying to get information on a guests room and the energy was aggressive and unsafe. The grounds are run down, littered with trash and unkept. Overall this hotel is not up to standard and I would avoid it at all costs.

Room smelled of bug spray, no maid service was provided, floor was so dirty my feet were black from walking barefoot on the wood bedroom floors (some of the wooden floor slats were loose), shower control mechanism was hard to use/operate properly (bathtub was dented, rusty, and shower tile was stained), pool on the day we arrived was dirty ( it was clean on later days), the advertised guest laundry was not available/operable, the general grounds were under renovations (lots of open trenches, hoses, etc.), the breakfast was good and ample, but the eating space was way too small and hot for the # of guests using it. Only one "news" channel available on TV . Misalignment of door in doorframe made the door deadbolt inoperable. Entire facility very run down nothing like the photos on the website .

Great location, free breakfast was good and offered a wide range of food. Pool was cleaned most of the time . Room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. AC unit worked well.
