Everything else. Room, was messy, also looked uncleaned or cleaned lazy. Curtains were stained with some brown color. Floor was dirty, looked out dated and not kept to standards.

No coffee downstairs, no ice machine, nor ice in freezer of room. No phone charging ports. The price wasn't great considering they didn't have breakfast and the above items. I should have spent $12 more per night to stay at another hotel

I'm a 23-year-old woman driving across the country by myself, and I felt safe here. There was plenty of free parking around the hotel. It was great to stay one night to recharge, and it is a quite place. Plus, the staff lady is super helpful.

They supposedly do not have ice anywhere in this hotel because the rooms have full refrigerators with ice makers. That would be okay IF THEY WORKED. Called the desk twice and attendant told me she would call maintenance. Well it has been an hour and nobody showed. She also said to me “Didn’t I just give you a bag of ice.” So she stated that she would get me a bag. AGAIN -NO SHOW. Would I recommend this hotel. ABSOLUTELY NOT. ALSO only have one pot if you want to cook anything. And this is NOT A SUITE — Fairfield has great suites. So crossing this hotel off my list.

I didn’t like how the room looked. I also saw roaches crawling in my room as well as the hallway. The towels looked off white instead of white.

There was nothing to not like. It was amazing. Very pleased. Staff was on point. Cleanliness was awesome! Everything was very nice and well kept.

The front receptionist/Manager was awesome! I had to add an extra night not once but TWICE to my reservation. Joe, I think her name was, did it and did it easy and fast and nicely. We needed extra towels, they got them to us. Everything was awesome and the rooms were kept clean and smelled fresh daily while we were there. Location was excellent since prom was right at the convention center next door so getting my daughter to her date was a breeze. I loved the facilities and will stay again if I ever need to. I definitely will highly recommend it to others that visit in the future.

I booked online. I received confirmation, but arrived and they had no room available. They said I shouldn't have booked online. Ridiculous. They blamed Booking.com and Booking.com blamed the hotel. NOBODY ACCEPTED RESPONSIBILITY. Meanwhile, we were left driving around an unfamiliar city late at night.

They gave us an email confirmation for the reservation right after we booked a room online. When we arrived at the hotel they told us that our reservation was already cancelled due to an overbook. They cancelled our reservation without any notice nor apologies. How amazing customer service.

I arrived at the Hotel from 2 hours away with my Staff. Total of 3. I had booked a Queen room with 2 beds months and months ago. They had me in a room with 1 bed, I had to cancel and spend the little free time I had in Texarkana looking for another room. Ended up having to go to the Arkansas side b/c 18 Hotels were booked. Not happy at all. I am waiting on my refund to my CC. Also, I was told that I would pay at the hotel and when I arrived, they had already charged my card.

I booked and paid for a double queen room and got a single queen. My daughter has trouble sleeping with others. They promised me a rollaway bed for her but when it hadn't showed up by 11 I had to make her just deal with it and go to bed because she had a dance competition in the morning and had to be up at 6. When we arrived to our room the floor in the kitchen and bathroom were both super sticky and all they could offer was a couple rags and some dish soap for me to clean it myself. The bed was not soft and was super springy.

The only redeeming place about this hotel was the front desk girl. She really wanted to help fix things and was super friendly.

No complaints, just a suggestion: put in shower heads with extra handheld heads since the water pressure is a little low.

I had actually booked a room at another hotel but canceled because the manager was very rude and professional. I'm glad I did because Candlewood Suite's rates were better, and my dogs and I had a very nice stay. The staff was excellent: very friendly, pleasant, helpful and the facilities were very accommodating. I traveled with two dogs (very reasonable pet fee BTW) and requested either a ground floor or room close to the elevator to be able to take the dogs out quickly and they were very nice to accommodate our needs. Very pet friendly with lots of other dogs there. Although, they don't usually serve food, they did the day before and the day of the solar eclipse just to give their guests a treat. They do make coffee available which is very important to me, and they have a modest commissary where snacks can be purchased. There are an abundance of places to eat that are easily accessible so not having a breakfast was no big deal.

Toilet didn’t flush. Called to get it fixed and they never came. Extremely nasty dishes left in the dish washer, tables bathroom and kitchen was completely filthy. The key card only works after you do it 20 times. The tv was broke and they never fixed it. The phone in the room was broke. Also there was roaches in the cabinets.
