We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. United StatesSliding barn door on the en suite bathroom was a little offputting. The "dining"table was small and pretty rickety. That's the only thing that was slightly misrepresented in the photos of the place.
The place was lovely, clean, well-equipped, beds were pretty comfortable. Great communication with host. They helped me recover a book I had left behind. Very responsive and accommodating.

United StatesToo much noise from upstairs tenant walking all hours of the night and day - not something you could control. Bed in the first room to the right needs all the fasteners tightened. The bed shakes with any movement. No butter knives in the kitchen. Zero response from the host either by phone or text. Tried to call a few times only to get voicemail. No call back, no response to texts. Granted - it was a holiday weekend, but . . .
The location was as expected and adequate for our purposes. Parking places were wide enough.

United StatesThe tub floor is super slick. Just have to enter carefully once it is wet. Box springs in both spare bedrooms make noise when you get in or out.
How bright and inviting it was. Everything looked new. Great value. Lots of brochures and info on Bowling Green. So very convenient to so much!!

United StatesThe only unpleasant part of the property was that other tenants in the building did not do a very good job of cleaning up their doggy business.
The property was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Alicia was very good to work with, she responded immediately with any questions we had.

United StatesThere were some key items missing that we needed to pay to provide, i.e can opener, dish soap and sponges. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. A mattress topper would go a long way on these hard box spring mattresses. The place seemed like it was cleaned a while ago, not right before the stay. There were spiders in the shower and someone else’s hair in the bath mats :/
The location was great and the space was easily accessible and cute! The host was helpful and responsive.
