United StatesThe breakfast was the worst I have ever come across. Several times they were out of food and the attendant responded she was not able to put out more because there was no more. They were out of juice our whole stay. We waited 25 min to be greeted and able to check in. Very unprofessional that I had to wait until someone showed up to check us in. We did online check in. The room was comfortable and clean.

United StatesThese are specific things that I wish the hotel industry overall would improve, not just Hawthorne Suites. Please stop using florescent/bright white LED lights in your rooms. It causes migraines for many people with sensitivity (including myself) and the soft/warm LED lights are the same price. We basically sat in the dark during our stay with the bathroom light on for this reason. I wish that there had been actual meat on the hot breakfast bar rather than just sausage gravy, and perhaps some boiled eggs for alternative protein sources. There were three juice options on the machine, but only apple was in operation. The ice machine was not working periodically - just make sure that maintenance on these things is a priority.
Overall the experience was pleasant, with professional staff and a very clean room upon entry. The breakfast was passable, and they allowed our family to smoke at an area with a table and chairs outside.

United StatesWell. When we went to go to bed, there was a big yellow stain and black marks on the sheets. When I called down (multiple times) to the lobby to obtain a new set of sheets, no one answered. I got dressed and went down, but no one was there. The phones were ringing off of the hook. An older man was also there waiting because his toilet was clogged. I ended up taking my own fresh set of sheets from the laundry area. I saw the older gentleman the next day and he said that he took the plunger from the lobby bathroom and unclogged the toilet himself. But, other than that incident, everything else was fine,
Check in went well. Breakfast was good. The young lady running it kept everything stocked. Room was cozy. The hotel overall was clean. The kitchenette was definitely a nice add on.
