Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesStreet noise was an issue at bedtime it calmed down by most people’s bedtimes though. We go to bed early. Also we were on the second floor had we been on a higher floor it might not have been an issue. I had read in other reviews that the bathrooms were dank. I thought the bath was great! Lots of room in the vanity to store personal toiletries and the hot water was instantly there when you turned the faucet on. New toilet.
It is right across the street from the Curran theater. Overnight valet parking for a better price than parking yourself in nearby garages. It is a beautiful older but renovated building. The staff were really helpful and friendly. Bargain rates. Attached restaurant open for breakfast was delicious. Great restaurants close by.

NetherlandsThe neighborhood felt really unsafe because of the homelessness. I didn’t realize it was that bad. The room also had some issues with the security box needing to be replaced and the phone being difficult to use without the speaker mode on. It felt like the maintenance of the rooms was not great.
The room was spacious and had an old-school charm. The staff was friendly and very responsive.

United KingdomWe booked a table at the restaurant but had to wait for a table to become available. The music in the bar was a little incongruous with the surroundings.
A very comfortable room with a connecting bathroom. The bath was nice and it had everything you would expect. The complimentary glass of wine in the bar and 10% discount at the restaurant downstairs were nice touches.

United StatesThe city has a problem with homelessness! The homeless are on the side streets. It’s not a welcoming view.
The hotel is downtown and very close to Union Square. So it’s a good location to see the sights of the city. It had a great restaurant on site.

United StatesNot much -the extra bed in our suite could use an upgrade. Would stay at the Warwick again.
The happy hour at the connected bar, The European was fun and the bartenders there were excellent. The staff at the front desk was always helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is one of its best features - so close to Union Square and lots of shopping.

SwitzerlandThe street is too noisy and the windows are not helping to keep the noise out. Even during 2 am, there is something ongoing. There might be homeless people around during the nights.

New ZealandThrough no fault of the hotel I didn't realize how much the neighborhood had changed in recent years and that it was no longer safe to go out at night from there. Really unfortunate for such a once-vibrant place.
Hotel was very comfortable and the staff helpful. I dined at the restaurant which was good, too.

United StatesThe fireplace is a barely-there flame that you only feel if you're immediately next to it, the lights came on without us turning them on (one causing a strobe light at 11:30 every night), and we found underwear in one of our lampshades
Close enough to get to everything in a good amount of time, 1 glass of wine per adult per day at Happy Hour, wonderful and efficient staff, balcony to people watch and feel a bit of the weather before heading out
