The TV was positioned on the side of bed and it was hard to watch it like that. It should be on the front wall to the bed. Also, it was a bit tricky to find our room in the night but not too difficult.

Liked the view from room deck. Also the reception desk and gift shop was cool. Could not use swimming pool/hottub/gym etc but it was nice to have the option to use.

Within walking distance to downtown BarHarbor and within biking distance to Acadia National Park.. Swimming pool/hot tub also nice. Access to shuttle bus. Staff was very pleasant.

Room was a little dated and there was no vent in the bathroom.

Nothing fancy here--but the bed was comfortable and the location (about a 15 minute walk from downtown Bar Harbor) was amazing for the price. We had a nice view of the harbor from our balcony. Breakfast here was very tasty--we loved the blueberry pancakes.

Nice motel on property of Bluenose inn, which is really nice. You can use all facilities in blue nose inn, which has pool. Piano player at bar at night was really nice too. Great location that has island explorer stop.

There was no breakfast included. The on-site restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner.

No view of the bay

The room was beautiful. The view was just the trees and bushes. No view of the bay. On that side of the road, you would have to be on the top floor of any hotel to have a view. So the balconey was no use. Still, it is a lovely place. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. Shuttle bus into Bar Harbor was very convenient. Maybe 10min drive.

No free breakfast 😞. The shower temperature was very finicky - hard to get it set at a comfortable water temp.

It would be nice if they had a restaurant for dinner, but that wasn’t advertised. No complaints on my stay or what was offered in general.

The property includes a breakfast restaurant, indoor and outdoor pool, gift shop, and nightly piano bar. It is about a mile into town from the location so I just walked into town most days. They have bikes available to rent for free if you don’t feel like walking.

The housekeeping was very minimal and if you walk to town you have a Hight hill to climb!

Very comfortable and clean drive up motel on top of high hill with beautiful views of ocean and islands if on upper level. Have access to BlueNose pool, lovely lounge with excellent evening pianist and breakfast at top of hill with more gorgeous views. Within walking distance to town.

Rooms are a little outdated and the price was a tad high for what you get.

Great location and having access to the pool is a definite plus! Dog friendly! We are still using the dog bowl we got as a welcome gift!

The bathroom and the bedroom could use a make over.

The room was big and comes with a small balcony. There was a refrigerator, microwave, TV and even a hairdryer in the bathroom. Parking right outside the front door – just like a motel. Property and room was very clean! The option to have breakfast in the “glass house” nearby was amazing. The view and the food were super good! We also tested the outdoor pool next to the main building. It was small, but impeccable, clean and even heated! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We will be back again!

One of the windows was stuck open, and there was a noticeable draft in the bathroom. Shower was either cold or scalding hot, there was no in-between.

Windows in our room didn't open (just one a tiny bit). It would have been nice to turn off AC and have cool air in the room. Other than that, everything was good.

Upper courtyard room doesn't have a view (just trees off balcony) but a short walk up to the Looking Glass Restaurant there is a large deck with views of Frenchman Bay. Our room was comfortable and included micro & refrig. Loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Used the bikes to go into Bar Harbor for lunch. Island Explorer picks up in the WVI parking lot so very convenient. Great Room has piano music 6 days/week. Quick access to Acadia NP.
