Good clean bathroom, complete kitchen but no oil, bed was comfortable, sadly no recycling bins and up keep could be better for example on two occasions I couldn’t get into the room because the door lock was broken but the staff saw no need to fix it

Due to the area being in an active neighborhood it was loud at night but there is not much to do about that. Was also St Paddy’s day weekend.

It was very clean and wifi worked well, everything worked as was supposed to.

Bed frame was a bit creaky.

Small mix up with my key, but the after hour reception was very helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Good bathroom facilities.

I have stayed here for around 15 times in the last 5 years and I wish I did not have to provide my passport over and over again. It should be enough with an international ID or to keep a record on your files.

nothing really....

got off work late and reception was gone and my self check-in instructions were detailed. The guest awake were nice , besides cool staff it had so much entertainment like pool darts , board games and video screens. This stay is unlike others I'm going back...

The towels smelled pretty bad despite being clean. The room also had a very strong "locker room smell", if you know what I mean. I was put in a bed right next to the heater, which made it really hot while trying to sleep. There were also some loud snorers in the room, but that's not the hostel's fault. They do provide free earplugs, though, and I sure took advantage of that.

Place has great location, staff is super friendly, hostel is clean and tidy, street parking pass worked out smoothly, lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The common area is also pretty cool, and the fact they have a computer room where you can work from is also a huge plus

I wish there were shampoo/body wash bottles in the restroom.

Staff were really friendly and helpful - I asked whether I could buy shampoo/body wash and they handed me a basket of communal shower items that previous guests have left behind. I didn't have to wait too long for a morning shower either. Beds were comfy and sheets were clean! Location wasn't too bad (better than expected) because the Brown line runs directly from the hostel to downtown, and my local friend confirmed that the Brown line is safe to ride at nights.

Bed not long enough for a person taller than 6ft

Um it smelled like ass as soon as I walked in and it was so gross! But once I got to my room I had the door closed and I was fine. Overall it was clean, staff was very friendly. I work at a nursing home and was not expecting to smell one when I walked in.

It’s nice for a solo traveler especially if you’re going to a cubs game or a concert at Wrigley Field! My roommates were really great! I’m sad that I won’t ever see them again.

The upstairs bathroom could be improved; the shower had very low water pressure.

I liked the vibe of the hostel; it was very lively but also quiet when needed. The rooms were clean, and the location was great—within walking distance of the metro, nice bars, and a baseball stadium.

The towels were all older and scratchy, the bath and shower were dirty and full of hair from other guests.

They had a mix of big and small lockers to choose from, luggage storage is free and they have a cute dog. The toilets were lovely and clean, and the beds were fine.

The wifi barely worked. I ended up turning off my wifi and just using my data plan since it was way faster and didn't time out as much. The water pressure in the shower was VERY poor. It was almost a trickle out of the faucet. There was also no mirror in the bathroom with the shower, which surprised me. I usually use a mirror when I shave.

The staff were very helpful. Someone was sleeping in my bed when I got to my room and the staff quickly jumped up to correct the situation. They provided free ear plugs, which I used since the guy above me snored VERY loudly. The location was great. Public transportation was less than a block away, plus so many places to eat, drink and socialize.
