Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI liked our cabin room, it was clean comfortable and cosy and also the location in the middle of nature, the SPA area with the sauna and jacuzzi (but cost it's not included in the room rate) and the restaurant was also really nice with very delicious options for both breakfast and dinner.

ArgentinaIf you don't have a car then you have a long uphill to walk which after a day in yosemite could be difficult. Apart from that, i didn't like much how I was supported when I arrived

GermanyIt was a bit expensive for what we got in the end. Also it takes a while to drive to Yosemite even though it indeed IS quite close. We actually only decided for this place because almost all campgrounds in Yosemite were still closed.
It was a tent hut, so what we expected. It had a nice place to sit where a fire was lit.

United StatesThe parking lot is quite small and steep. And in the middle of the night (around 10pm to midnight), some guys are gathering around the fire pit and talked very loud so it’d be great if you have a rule to use quite voice in the middle of the night.
The room is very nice, comfy and clean. The hand soap in the bathroom smells so good! The cafe isn’t far to walk and grab some dinner or coffee and foods are very nice and have come in a big plate.

United StatesI wish the beds were a bit of more comfortable. The pillows were up little flat, so I woke up with neck pain. If I would’ve known I would’ve brought my own
The café was so cute and comfy. There was such a warm environment created by the fireplace in the center. The Camino Kitchen Costco had everything we needed. I wish we would’ve planned better because we thought it wouldn’t have anything so we didn’t go grocery shopping. Highly recommend you bring food to make. They have everything like coffee, grinder, knives, forks, plates, they even have a coffee machine, and oil for you to use and share.

AustraliaRestaurant was only option for beakfast and dinner for food. Food was good but can get expensive buying every day for brekkie and dinner.
Loved staying in the cabin for a few nights to explore Yosemite. Didn't get a chance to use it but the spa looked amazing and had a beautiful view over the woods. $20 per person though to use which I thought was abit pricey, especially when they initially wanted to charge for my 5mnth old also.

United KingdomThe tent/cabin we were given was quite a long walk from the parking lot and the toilet/shower facility. Seeing as we were travelling with young children I was surprised that our cabin was at the top of a long, steep flight of steps, especially considering that we had booked quite far in advance I thought we might have been given some kind of preference, but I guess first come first served. The cabins aren’t really suitable for the extreme cold weather that we had. Whilst the heater provided made a difference it took it being on all night to get the room warm. However I bet the cabins would be great in milder weather.
The location is really great, close to the park. The Kitchen was fully stocked and easy to use. Plenty of parking.

United KingdomThe hotel is really good and it is definitely better from what I thought it would be. Staff is super friendly and helpful, especially people in the café. Huts are distributed and pretty far from one another and yet there is amazing WiFi reception and it is included in the stay(in other places nearby you have to pay!). There is a decent spa centre, a handful of walks around, really good food. We travelled in winter and rooms have good temperature, air-conditioning is functioning and not so long, so you can easily sleep though them. It is a bit of a drive from Yosemite, but hey, for us Europeans anything longer than half an hour is quite a drive :) I wish we'd stayed in this hotel for longer instead of going to a different one first.

AustraliaOur labelled food from the communal fridge got stolen, however the lodge was kind enough to provide us with some milk for our cereal. Long walk to front of property to catch bus, would be handy to have some parking up the top.
Nice secluded location that made you feel in the wilderness. Food at the lodge was delicious. YART stop out the front for ease of access to Yosemite instead of driving. Spa was great but expensive to use.

NetherlandsWe stayed in a "heated tent", since it was winter, it was cold outside but it is also very cold inside the tent. The heating was not sufficient. The restroom and shower are a 1 minute walk from the tent, which doesn't sound like much but when it's very cold or bad weather its not really comfortable. I think this place is great in summer, but be prepared for cold when staying there in winter.
The bug resort has a nice cosy restaurant with good food. The people working there are very friendly.
