Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyThe passing trucks were very loud, but we sleept well anyway. The price was high, but I guess the location close to the Yosemite entrence makes an influence.
Nice room with a possibility to sit outside. Good that there was breakfast, but we didn't try it as we didn't know before we checked in. Close to the Yosemite entrence.

United StatesBed is very high and difficult to climb into. Be aware some rooms require carrying luggage up/down full flight of stairs. Continental breakfast requires eating in your room or on outside balcony. That can be a plus depending on weather!
View is outstanding! Watched the sunrise over Mono lake and east mountain range from our bed!.Sliding glass door offers full view. Covered balcony allows full enjoyment of the view. Perfect location to east entrance of Yosemite. Comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay here again

United KingdomThe motel is right by a busy road and there was some traffic noise at night, but not too much to badly disturb our sleep
Very handy location near the entrance to the Tioga Pass and beautiful Mono Lake, with a few dining options nearby. Our room was a good size with a view towards the lake from a small terrace.

SingaporeAt around 8am, one of the maintenance staff suddenly try to force open our door. Luckily we had the double lock engaged and used something to hold the door. It was scary as the apartment is facing the Main Street and I thought someone is going to break in
It was near to Yosemite

Perfect location to visit Yosemite from the West side. The motel is on US-395 highway very close to the CA-120 junction, where Yosemite National Park is accessible. The room was OK for a family of 4. There was a small takeaway breakfast (orange juice, tea, yoghurt) in the price, which can be gathered from the reception area. The parking lot is behind the motel in front of the entrance of the rooms.

ThailandI would have liked to check in earlier, but it was a minor inconvenience. There was no breakfast as such, just coffee and pastries but it wasn.t a problem for me as it meant that I could get on the road quicker.
The check in was efficient, but although I was early the reception wasn,t open until almost the time stated for check in. So I wandered around the immediate area which included a souvenir shop which was good. My room was on the street side of the motel, but it wasn,t noisy as I thought it may be. The balcony of the room gave a super view of the Lake and was quiet. The room was a bit dark, but overall I was satisfied with it. There are some eateries opposite the hotel which were good. The location is very good for visiting Yosemite.I would stay again if I were travelling that way.

United StatesNo AC or windows and the days were pretty hot. Fan provided did not work well, but when I asked in the office, the young woman working there was very helpful and found me a much better, more powerful fan. Nevertheless, to get cool air into the room at night, I had to sleep with the sliding door open -- luckily the room was on the backside of the motel and I knew that Lee Vining is a pretty safe location, but some may not feel comfortable doing this.
Very clean room with upgraded bathroom and comfortable bed. Great location in the middle of the town of Lee Vining, so easy to walk to restaurants and the Mono Lake Committee Visitor Center. View of Mono Lake from walkway in front of room entrance.

United StatesSome rooms were better then others in location, Noise level, Views and size. Better to not have a street room. Parking is not great to access some of the lower level rooms and hard to carry luggage. For $200+ you should have more amenities and breakfast.
Views were good if you had a room on the creek side of the building. Very close to Yosemite park and to a local trail to hike if you want to see the Vining trail and creek. Decent food across the street.

United StatesThe furnishings were dated, the fridge did not have a mini freezer, and the analogue air conditioner was difficult to control and very loud. There was no plug for the bath, and the AT&T coverage was poor.
The customer service was great, and the room was clean with good quality internet. The accommodation offered a basic, free breakfast with fruit, yogurt, and drinks. It was conveniently positioned close to the few local amenities, and most rooms had close parking. The room also had a coffee machine, microwave, and small fridge.

GermanyAs the hotel is located directly on Interstate 395, which has a lot of traffic, doors with noise insulation would be appreciated.
The balcony offers a great view of Mono Lake. It is perfectly located to start your day in Yosemite Park from the Tioga Pass entry.
