Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe rooms are huge, well appointed, super clean, and have all the amenities you could want or need. The breakfast bar is open 24/7 and they have a hand picked selection of good fresh food and treats. If that isn't enough, the Owners are there and are the perfect hosts.. friendly, caring, full of great information about the area and it's history, and we had a very special evening chatting away with them. They're special folks, don't miss out getting to know them. I couldn't have dreamed up a better experience and I feel so fortunate my daughter chose this lodge. Highly recommend. This place earns all it's stars.

FranceThere are lots of stairs so i'm not sure if it's wheelchair friendly. This would have to be checked if needed.
The location was really nice, pretty close from many national parks. The owners are super friendly and very helpful. The lodge is amazingly well equipped and a fantastic place to rest and relax. I will definitely go back there if I am back in Utah.

United StatesZion Cliff Lodge is an incredible place located right on the border of Utah and Arizona. The lodge offers convenient self-check-in and check-out and boasts breathtaking views. The room was quite spacious and with all amenities. It's just about 30ish minutes from Zion National Park if you take the scenic shortcut via a dirt road, which the host recommended for our 4×4 vehicle—it was an unforgettable drive! The host, Mr. Shem, was exceptionally hospitable. I highly recommend Zion Cliff Lodge and would rate it higher than a perfect 10! Truly felt like a home away from home!

United StatesI didn’t like the location. The town had very little to offer other than proximity to the far side of Zion.
It was beautifully appointed! The owners have done an excellent job with every detail. The owners were also very nice and helpful! Our room was awesome !

PolandEverything was simply amazing! The owners were so friendly, it felt like home. The place is wonderfully designed and done, we really loved it. Rooms are exceptional, clean and stylish. We also spent great time on the patio, the location was beautiful on both sunset and sunrise. The 24 hour bar is also great btw! Oh, and don’t forget about breakfast, the breakfast we got was just a chef’s kiss, great ingredients and high quality.

United StatesWhat a wonderful place to stay. The owner was very attentive and helpful - he directed us to several places for dinner. I loved the community area - had a bar (with very reasonably priced drinks) and lots of breakfast items for purchase (on the honor system). The woodwork is amazing.

Breakfast items provided were diverse and available at any time, a very nice selection of things one can prepare without set hours and good quality. The location was superb for sunset (not there at sunrise). Everything was well-appointed and beautifully done! I was traveling with my daughter and we were given the sunset suite....spacious and sumptuous!

Shem & Lisa were extremely courteous and helpful with everything from booking to getting me checked in. They went above and beyond in terms of customer service, friendliness, and hospitality. This is by far the best place I booked on my trip, and I will absolutely book a stay at Zion Cliff Lodge in the future! :)

The place felt like home. The host was kind and generous, was more than happy to give us a better room free of charge. Also, the place have a professional kitchen and the best equipment for cooking and grilling. There is a very nice porch outside, great view of the park and stars!

United StatesWhen we first arrived I was surprised that there was no bathroom in our room. After speaking to the front desk we were transferred to a different room with a bathroom at no additional cost. Make sure to review if your room has a shared bathroom or its own.
It is located in the street that divides Arizona and Utah so it was nice to be able to be in 2 states at once. The owner was amazing ..they offered some breakfast items for free. I loved that the room had a microwave and fridge as well as a small kitchen and sitting area.
