The room was a bit small, but it's what you would expect from this type of hotel. We booked a balcony room, but the balcony was very small. Not enough room for 2 people to sit. But they did have rooms with a larger balcony.

A small well run hotel in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Friendly and attentive staff. Tracy on reception ws very knowledgeable and helpful with information and suggestions. The breakfast in the downstairs restaurant was really good.

Exceptional service from the staff, clean facilities, and amazing breakfast! We stayed here for our last night in Vietnam after spending 3 weeks travelling and it was such a treat. I was feeling ill when I arrived and the staff were incredibly understanding and helpful! They made great recommendations and helped me feel more human again. I definitely recommend staying here!

Location in the Old Quarter Staff treated us like family 🤗 Many thanks to Miss Kim who gave very helpful and reassuring advice on day and overnight trips, as well as information on Vietnamese culture. She and all the receptionists ( including Bonnie, Trainee Tham, and others) were most welcoming and helpful and interested in our welfare as were the breakfast staff , room cleaning team and bellboys. They are all an asset for the hotel. 😊

We had a fantastic stay at the Emerald Waters Classy Hotel in Hanoi. The location is ideal for exploring the Old Quarter, close to Hoan Kiem Lake and other key attractions. The service was exceptional, with special thanks to Bonie and Ms. Kym at reception for their fabulous warm and attentive assistance. Nothing was any bother to them. All their recommendations were super. Room comfortable, clean and great shower. Breakfast offered a great variety of options, making each morning a delight. Overall, the combination of wonderful service, convenient location, and amenities made our experience truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The hotel was great. The breakfast was great. The staff were exceptional and made us feel at home. They helped us with online check-ins and other stuff where the information was in Vietnamese. This may be a 4 star hotel but it is 7 stars for us.

I had a front-facing balcony, and the Old Quarter is noisy, but the streets got quiet by 10:30 p.m. The morning noise starts around 6:00 a.m. It's not a problem for me, but if you like to sleep in, you might request an inside room.

A VERY well managed property. Any issue I brought up was handled immediately, for example, a slow draining sink. The front desk staff was responsive without being overbearing. And the breakfast buffet was good. The hotel has not too many rooms so the elevators are quick and there's never a wait for any service. I'll return here for sure and recommend it to friends.
