Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomUnfortunately on the day of travel we were informed of a problem with our room in a sister hotel. To be fair they offered us a room at this hotel which was in the Old Quarter so great for walking to places but a nightmare for taxis to take/pick up From . Beware if you have any tours booked. On our arrival we were assigned a room so settled in but then had to move because they had assigned us the wrong room. We were not happy as very tired from travelling but the staff were very apologetic and did their best. From then on all was good , staff were very obliging and friendly.

United KingdomVery small pool on roof.
Great hotel, very convenient for Train Street and many shops and restaurants. We stayed in a room with balcony which was very spacious but faced onto the main road so if you don't like traffic noise be mindful. We didn't mind. Good breakfast in lobby. The thing that made the hotel so good were the staff so helpful and accommodating.

Amazing gem of a hotel on outskirts of the old quarter. Rooms were spacious; ours had a king size & single bed; we had a Fridge stocked with beer, and soft drinks payable, hairdryer & kettle in room, there was complimentary tea, coffee and water and snacks were in room payable if you wanted. Great breakfast was served in the lobby between 6.30am.and 10am and eggs and some other dishes were cooked fresh to order. All Staff were amazing from the trainees and bell boys to Mr Jerry, Tracy and Macie on reception. I would highly recommend due to the staff, quality of service, breakfast and great stay experience. Thank you!

AustraliaIf you’re coming to Hanoi expecting peace and quiet, think again—this city is full of life, energy, and, yes, noise. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, Hanoi might not be the place—but if you want to immerse yourself in an exciting, dynamic city and still have a comfortable place to rest, this hotel is a great choice
I recently stayed at San Palace and had an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They were incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, which made exploring the area so much easier. The room was much larger than I expected, with plenty of space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. What impressed me most was the incredible value for money. Given the quality of the stay, the price was unbeatable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and budget-friendly stay. I will definitely be returning

United KingdomThe position of this hotel is on a very busy junction so it can be noisy. We were given a room at the back, away from the road, which helped a lot, though traffic noise as still a bit of an issue.
