There was work being done around the pool and I didn't feel comfortable to use it.

The dinners and breakfasts were lovely and the staff were very helpful. We also enjoyed a massage at the spa and lounged by the pool where the staff made sure to keep our drinks refreshed. We had a great stay!

The staff is friendly and very welcoming, we had a wonderful stay with my husband. The game drive was the best, with a very patient guide Mr Lovemore. Would definitely love to visit again

Dinner felt a bit rushed first night Second night dinner was not so good Pap needed some salt and all the side dishes was to spicy meat was dry and tough not tasty at all. There was not "atmosphere" it just felt dull. the Desert was apple pie and some puffy brandy mouse no custard or Cream or Ice cream second night meat and the desert second night. the atmosphere was dull. I missed placing an order with the kitchen by 2 minutes due to telephone network problems. No room service available. not having the option to place an order "cheeseboard" or picknick basket (that would have been awesome)

Breakfast was excellent Valentines Night Dinner food was good Real flowers would have been nice and live entertainment would have been a big + Food portions was good vegies was a bit under cooked. Dinner felt a bit rushed. Animals is in excellent condition place is neat tidy - well kept. Staff Very friendly and helpful

With the exception of the guide on the game drive and the receptionist, the staff were quite " couldn't care less". The meals were disappointing.

African Hills is very accessible from Johannesberg. The room was comfortable and had a good view. There was an oppurtunity for a little game drive which was very enjoyable. There's a nice little museum within the property.Great value for money.

There is a foul smell seemingly coming from the drains or the toilet. Maybe install a stronger ventilation suction and some aromatic fragrance in the rooms.

The staff tidied the room while I was dining and thus returned to a prepared room for sleeping. It's a beautiful touch that the staff prepared the bed too.

There were certain areas in the room that wasn’t that clean, like in the bathroom - there were quite a lot of spiderwebs that were very visible and could have been cleared.

The view was amazing! We really enjoyed sitting outside.

Slightly less private than expected, rooms are situated rather close to each other. No voil or lace beneath curtains, so if you're changing, your neighbour's will see unless curtains are closed.

The game on the property was unbelievable. Food was very good . The New Year's gift and welcome letter received was a lovely touch and the room was very spacious and clean and luxurious with gowns and slippers being provided and great amenities.

The fan stopped working on the second night. The bedside light started flickering on the second night. Great activity options but they are very expensive.

WE loved the room, especially the view. It was thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed. Food was delicious, especially dinner.
