The exposed cables running on the ceilings do give cheap vibes to the hotel and are very untidy. How the decoder and tv are connected is clumsy for a hotel. There was only one gown yet the booking was for 2. 1 bottle of water and there were no sleepers yet in the bathroom there is a note about sleepers. There is just no care paid to such things. At the check in there was no explanation about breakfast times, the facility and wifi if there is any.

The breakfast was good but presentation where the breakfast is laid can be improved.....can't be serving yoghurts from the containers from shop. The location is good, peaceful and quiet. The staff was friendly.

I've been to many stays in Polokwane, none come close to the standard that Ruby Stone offers. It is not a huge property, only houses upto 20 rooms max so it very quiet. Nicely situation away from the CBD but close to Savanah mall and other convenient places. THEIR BREAKFAST GUYS..Nor mahn. When you book make sure you include breakfast and actually sit down at their table to eat. Their variety of everything. It eating from a grocery store. Excellent Excellent.

The shower was a bit dingy, in need of new grout or a good scrub, and the water pressure was extremely poor. Showering was really a bad experience. The Bar fridge was very old and did not cool efficiently. The Toilet seat was loose. The Air extractor in the bathroom was filthy and looked like it's never been cleaned. The whole room just felt old and in need of some freshening up and basic maintenance. Looks better in the photo's than in reality.

The staff was friendly, the location was good. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was quite decent.

Nowhere near being a 'boutique' hotel. The gown wad grubby, walls of the room need to be painted, the TV set up I'd really poorly executed. The DSTV unit balance upside down on top of the TV. The plug is skew and the cables are all over the place. It felt grubby in side the room, it needs a revamp...desperately.

The shower door did not open fully, which made it a bit difficult to enter. And there was definitely no high speed internet as indicated.

Breakfast was decent however I did not have any of the hot beverages due to some pests noted.

The yard was not cleaned,requesting toilet papers for the room was anoying. I suggest that if the guests are staying for more than one day the host must provide at least two toilet papers.

The room was big, very clean , bedding so clean , comfortable bed and the restaurant so neat and the food was so delicious. The staff were so freindly and assist where possible.

The property emailed to say I haven’t paid. When I emailed back there was no reply. They offered that we can have dinner a la carte, which they shouldn’t do, because no one in the kitchen can cook. There was no waiter, half the menu was out of stock, the steak was unseared, unseasoned, and tasted microwaved. The starter arrived after the mains. Food took almost an hour. The room is poorly maintained. The mini bar only has one bottle of water. There is no hair dryer in the rooms, but there are cockroaches. The carpets have suspicious stains. The bedding have brown stains. We skipped breakfast and got the hell out of dodge.
