We had an incredible 3d2n stay at Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort. Even before our stay, Janith and Manisha went above and beyond to make our trip to Sri Lanka enjoyable. The drive we had originally booked cancelled last minute, and they were able to quickly arrange transport for us from Colombo to the resort and even for the subsequent week of our trip. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, both the structures and the surrounding areas, which includes a path to a waterfall and gorgeous views of the rainforest. We ate each meal here and loved every single bite - the coconut sambal was some of the best in the world. For those with smaller stomachs, the portions are huge so it’s best to split a plate so as to avoid food waste. We originally booked the triple room with a view but when we saw the Superior Family Room, we immediately upgrades because it’s essentially a glass treehouse immersed in the jungle. We also booked a jungle tour through the resort and our guide Kumar took us on an incredible all day journey through a tea plantation to a rainforest, where we explored waterfalls and learned about the local flora. We are traveling through Sri Lanka for a few weeks and really this has been one of the highlights of our trip because of beautiful location, delicious food, the wonderful memories made on the jungle tour, and most importantly the compassion and kindness that were shown to us at every minute by Janith and Manisha. We cannot recommend this place enough.

I liked the location, the view, the room (ac was working perfectly, hot water, comfortable bed). The homemade food they were making was tasty and also reasonable priced. Also by the river seeing crocodiles, peacocks, monkeys and comodo dragon was fascinating.

Lunuvila Resort Hiriketiya Dikwella asub Dickwellas, Dickwella rannast 800 meetri kaugusel. Kohapeal on aiavaade, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. our absolute favorite stay in sri lanka! we kept extending it because oh we loved it so much. 1. the place is ideally located between dickwella and hiriketiya. close to the main road but far enough to be quiet! (important for us) 2. the room is extremely clean and well-thought out. very beautifully decorated with so much love and attention to detail. we had everything needed and couldn’t ask for more really. having our own kitchen was a huge plus and you can also do your laundry here. 3. the host Dasitha is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) person we’ve ever met. he was so patient and humble and truly cared about our experience…! very welcoming and friendly. great communication too. made our stay so special. helped us a lot in all possible aspects of our travel. feeling very grateful we decided to stay there and meet him. 4. the space: there’s a quiet outdoor area with sunbeds. we loved it! 5. unbeatable value for the price.! we couldn’t wish for a better accommodation! can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back. thank you so much Dasitha!

Aia, terrassi ja ühisköögiga Unrushed Midigama asub Midigama rannast 2,1 km kaugusel. Puhkemajakeses on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Good wifi, massive lawn, and my personal favourite- monster lizard. It lives in the lawn. You can walk to the beach and all the eateries. Manu is very resourceful and can get you most of the things. Just ask him!

The garden, the bungalow with it’s private space outside to chill, the common areas where people got together to drink, eat or just chat… It’s also a 1 minute walk from the beach and literally 30 seconds from awesome coffe shops and restaurants. The hosting family is kind and will help you with anything you need. I had the chance to know more about them and how midigama has evolved in the past 40 years. It was really interesting and they are the sweetest people. Also, 2 great surfing spots just a few minutes walk from the bungalows. I will surely come back! Thanks for everything!

Merevaate, basseini, aia ja terrassiga majutusasutus Vis Ta Vie Tasuta WiFi-ühendusega Thema Collection asub Mirissas. Head of the Hotel is a brillant person. Almost every request we had he resolved so quickly. Restaurant served delicious food. We really recomend this place.

The view was absolutely amazing and the perfect place to unwind. The room is great and has everything you need. The whole family is super welcoming and will help out with anything you need and the food is so good! Would highly recommend!!!

Bimanjee Mango Resort asub Mataras, Matara ranna ja Polhena ranna lähedal. Kohapeal on tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. I had stayed here comfortably for 2 nights. He called me before I checked in to confirm whether he would pick me up. He kindly told me about places to visit around his house. I could eat home-cooked meals for free. His wife's cooking was good. It's also fun to sit in the garden and eat while watching the pretty birds fly in. The family seemed to enjoy communicating with guests, regardless of their commercial purpose. His 4-year-old son always greeted me with a smile. I will come here again next time because I can stay comfortably as if I were staying at a friend's house. If you want to enjoy a comfortable trip at a reasonable cost, you should visit here. Thanks for Bimanjee and his wife.

Tasuta WiFi-ühenduse ja aiaga The Whitegates Lodge asub Midigamas, 6 km kaugusel Ahangamast. Galle jääb 26 km kaugusele. Kohapeal on tasuta eraparkla. Kõikides majutusruumides on istumisnurk. The room was lovely, a good size and very clean. The bathroom was modern and spotless. There was a shared kitchen which had all the basic cooking utensils. Breakfast was delicious and varied day to day, including a hot breakfast and fruits. The lodge is across the road from a very nice swimming bay and is also a short distance from surf spots and trendy cafes. Excellent hosts. Good value for money.
