This was our second year in a row at the Seeblick hotel. We came back because we loved it so much. It is an excellent location overlooking Lake Lucerne with beautiful vistas. Try to book a room with Lakeview and a balcony. There are numerous cablecars that take you up to mountain tops behind Emmetten that also offer spectacular views, food, and some nice hiking. The staff at the hotel are superb, they remembered us from last year, not sure if that’s good or bad! 🤣 Make sure to check out the exceptional indoor pool, and sauna.

Location is beautiful - awesome views in all directions. The apartment is super comfortable - we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and relaxing in the living room. Host Sonja is soooo friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to provide exceptional service and extra touches. The parking spot in the underground garage was terrific. In my opinion, Brunnen is the perfect place to experience Lake Lucerne - the mountains are magnificent on the north and east ends of the Lake. And the city of Lucerne is only 30 minutes away.

The manager and his wife were wonderful! We ended up eating every mean overlooking the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We got to know the waiters and they were so kind. We went for a day into Lucerne, and the manager recommended the best restaurant, Brasserie Bodu which we have since passed on to friends visiting Lucerne. We had a great day, but couldn't wait to get back to Seehotel Gotthard. We would definitely return! Thank you for making our stay special ...

We had a room with a nice size balcony with a gorgeous view facing Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Our room was very comfortable...well appointed, including complimentary drinks & chocolate in the bar fridge. Hotel was very close to Lake Lucerne. Staff was courteous & friendly and we had enjoyable conversations with several. Very walkable to local restaurants, town, ferry pier, etc. Really no complaints. Would definitely come back.

Room was comfortable and clean with a terrific view of Lake Lucerne. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is a little removed from busy part of city but easy walk along River or via tram to central Lucerne. Only down side is walk up the hill with luggage to hotel. Planned on taking Uber but train station area was extremely crowded due to Fair in that area and opted for bus. Didn’t see taxi stand. Would definitely stay here again.

Located in a beautiful part of Lake Lucerne above the lake. For the key thing was access to the gondola to get to the higher slopes for walking. All within a 100 metres or so are restaurants and grocery store bus terminal ATM point. There is private underground parking a fitness room with various machines and a swimming pool. Meeting host was easy and access to building simple. The apartment was comfortable and warm with a big patio.

The view of Lake Lucerne from our room and balcony was wonderful. We really enjoyed the peaceful area also (not busy like Lucerne but close enough to get there by car or ferry). The food at the hotel exceeded our expectations. There's a cable car lift to a high vantage point within walking distance to the hotel. We wanted to do it but it was raining hard during that available time so we couldn't.

A very nice stay. We love this quiet little town on Lake Lucerne. It is truly a gem when visiting this area. The view of the lake is unbeatable from this hotel with very easy access to swimming in the lake. The hotel is very nice, very clean, excellent staff and wonderful food. Highly recommended if you want to visit Lucerne but don’t want tot stay in the busy city.

We were looking for a place to stay near Lake Lucerne. We found this hotel just outside the city. What can I say. It was an excellent hotel. The view from the room was the most beautiful I have seen. The mountains and lake made the stay worthwhile. The food was great, the room was great. You will not be disappointed. If you are in the area you must stay here.

The hotel was situated on the top of a cliff that was easily accessible by a funicular railway . The room views are either over lake Lucerne and the town or the woods. It was a peaceful location . buses are frequent into the town to pick up the trains , or the pier for boat rides. The staff were very accommodating and always friendly and polite .

Wonderful hotel with a beautiful view! Excellent location to be able to experience central Switzerland. Lovely restaurant (top rated in Hergiswil) with great breakfast and exceptional dinner menu. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice coffee/tea bar on the 3rd floor - we loved drinking out morning coffee overlooking lake Lucerne!

This was an excellent location for access to Rigi Kulm. Being at Rigi Kaltbad the hotel had excellent views over the Lake Lucerne and across to the Alps. The rooms were very clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful - in particular the owner, Andre. The breakfasts are good, with plenty on offer.

Great location with a fantastic view of the mountains and lake Lucerne. We travelled as a family of (4) and it was important for us to be in the same room. Its difficult to find accommodation outside of the major cities with enough beds that aren't a sofa and this place ticked the box.

We were given an upgrade to their adjoining property, the Schless Hotel, which was across the street and right on Lake Lucerne, a magnificent view and location just a few minutes from Lucerne. Room was spacious and you felt like you were in a castle. Breakfast was also amazing.

The property is at a quiet and pleasant bay around the corner of lake Lucerne. The hotel host is extremely friendly and nice, and provided good advice for our trip in the City. The room has a beautiful balcony facing the lake. The breakfast is of high standard.

We had a large 3 bedroom apartment. It has all amentities you want when travelling with kids. The pool area was incredible with build in spas overlooking snow capped mountains. Pools are heated. Across the road from Lake Lucerne where we could kayak.

We were 2 couples with 2 Comfort Twin Rooms with Lake View. The view from the room on Lake Lucerne is beautiful. The room is furnished comfortably and the bathroom is very nice. The breakfast offers a wide selection.

Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony and was close to a pedestrian walking trail that lead along Lake Lucerne to the city center. It also was close to a bus stop for transfers to and from the train station.

Wonderful location looking out over Lake Lucerne. Worth paying extra for a room with a lake view, because the view changes radically as shadows lengthen or retreat. Evidently very popular with local Swiss tourists.

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is simply unparalleled in terms of natural beauty, and eating breakfast on the terrace, overlooking Lake Lucerne, was definitely one of our trips' highlights!
