PROS: The host was very welcoming and gave us a free room upgrade. The room was above expectations (fridge, TV, air con, ceiling fan) and personal cutlery/tableware set provided. Location was outside a bus stop, so we didn't need to carry our bags any distance. Room felt nice and clean. CONS: beware there is no flexibility on bag storage/waiting in the common room past 5pm, even if your onwards travel departs shortly after this time. Toilets/showers could do with an update and you have to go outside to move between your room and other areas, Inc toilet/sink. Also, Persistent warnings and reminders everywhere felt patronising and unhomely.

Room had a skylight with no curtain so it feels like someone turned on the lights at 6.30am.

Rooms were very clean and nice staff. There are only fans in the room but it was still alright to sleep. Personal cutlery and dishes were provided - really cute! The other guests were also calm and there was barely any noise!

Room roadside, traffic noise 5am. However, ear plugs are provided free. Ours was a private Room, believe dorm rooms are further back away from road. Reception staff helpful & lovely. Beach 2 streets away, town 5 min walk..Thai restaurant 1min away, very nice food.

My room did not have a private bathroom attached; however I knew this when booking and the shared bathrooms were more than fine and provided privacy. This might be a turn off for some, however it is well promoted as to what is being provided.

Spacious room within a structure of natural timbers for flooring and roof. Excellent air-conditioning and natural ventilation if preferred. The shared kitchen and dining area is lovely and again is an earthy, easy to relax in space.

The mattress could use replacing in the room I was in. Also, while it's so lovely to feel like you're in a treehouse, on the windy night I was there a tree was banging on the tin roof throughout the night. I have earplugs and it still woke me up.

The room I had was quite charming, though simple. The location is relatively convenient. I didn't stay for long enough, but it seems like there are lots of fun facilities from a giant Connect 4, and outdoor bbqs. The hammocks are also a nice touch.

There’s nothing negative about it. Just be aware there are not many buses coming very often so you need to organise your times.
