    “This really is an exceptional hotel; feels small and homely but with plenty of space, a great bar and two affiliated restaurants both serving amazing food. The staff were wonderful, always very friendly and happy to help. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the lovely Paraty historical centre. I have travelled a lot and this is definitely up there as one of my favourite hotels!”

    “Really chill hostel, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The living room has a huge TV — kinda feels like a mini movie theater. The owner’s super friendly and gives great tips, especially on where to eat (which is super important for me). Thanks a lot for the stay!”

    “The whole hotel was spotless. The gardens were immaculate and well looked after. There were lots of nice and different seating areas around garden and hotel. Everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast had lots of choice hot and cold, and you were able to eat in the breakfast room or outside by the pool. The shower was really hot and powerful. The location was excellent for the bus station as only 5 minutes walk and no noise.”

    “Talles is the kindest host and makes sure your stay is comfortable and fun. The beds were comfy, the kitchen area sufficient and the big tv and hangout area is very cool. But the kindness of the host was definitely our highlight!”

    “We liked a lot: * Rooms super clean, strong AC, comfy * Excellent location * Staff friendly and responsive * Good value for money To consider * All rooms are arranged around the pool & common area. * If people are having calls outside, using the pool or watching TV you will hear everything. * Unfortunately during our stay other guests outside where very noisy and loud incl. Pool jumping until 3 am. The quiet times are clearly stated in the house rules in each room but there is no enforcement of rules by the staff. * Behaviour of other guests is not within the influence of the hotel obviously, but their handling of rules is. We wished for a stronger enforcement of the house rules.”

    “Beautiful Pousada. We loved the hammocks, and the pool and steam room were great to cool down in at the end of the day. Breakfast was lovely and they made omelettes upon request. Staff were very helpful and organised a roundtrip taxi for us to visit Trindade beaches. (we struggled to get an uber after waiting for 30 minutes)”
