The hotel is amazing, the rooms are beautifull with very good bathrooms, the bed wa sooooo good.9 The restaurant downstairs, the rooftop pool with an amazing vieuw! You can have lunch and dinner at the rooftoo, the peope working there, especially Joao Pedro from the rooftop bar! It is a quiet, nice place just outside rio, 5 min walk to the beach of Icarai, with many amazing restaurants! Ideal if you want to get out of rio, but still have the possibility to go sight seeing in the city. Its an amazing safe area, wich can be said about the city of Rio de Janeiro. I loved it here the hotel exceeded all expectations. Note: the pool is heated during the evening! I havent had any other hotel in brazil doing that so an extra bonus

United StatesCheck in took longer than expected seeing that you reserve and input all the information ahead of time. I wasn’t able to fully understand the reception attendant because of a language barrier. I should have just waited for the employee who spoke English more clearly. The room service food wasn’t good. I would skip. They charge for a bucket of ice which is normally complimentary at most hotels. I wish they offered irons in the rooms instead of via a service. Some thing’s need to be quickly groomed on the spot. Having to prearrange proved to be quite inconvenient. Lastly, although the breakfast buffet was large and had a good variety, it wasn’t well looked after. Things finished and they left it there. Overall I expected more from a 4 star hotel.
I enjoyed the view from my room. I also enjoyed the rooftop space. The minibar was also well stocked.

The outstanding service and superb communication. Every time I reached out, they always got back to me in a timely manner with a satisfying answer. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast came with a great variety and speedy refills. We especially love the rooftop pool and the stunning view. It's walking distance to the art museum, supermarket next door, and the beach right across the road. It's not in Rio but it's very easy and quick by Uber.
