We really liked the accommodation. Above all, the very friendly and personable hostess. We got blueberry pancakes in the morning. They were super tasty. Warm greetings from Germany.

Lori was an exceptional host who went above and beyond what we expected. Dropping us off at the airport and offering to take us into the main town centre was incredibly kind (and saved us $80 on a taxi!!). The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. The breakfast super great. Lori even made us a take away breakfast on a day we were leaving at 0600 for a bear tour. Highly highly recommend. It is a beautiful home. Lorrie is very friendly and prepares a varied and delicious breakfast. This house is a very good starting point for hiking and boot tours (whale watching) or beaches.

Everything was perfect

Our room had a view of the harbour. It was very clean and spacious. The weather was really hot out but our room was quite comfortable. Lori was an amazing host and made delicious breakfasts everyday. We loved sharing our adventure stories. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Lori!

Nothing could have been better.

This hidden gem is situated a short downhill walk from downtown and presents all the comfort of a home. The bedroom was spacious, cool in the summer and quiet. There are only two rooms rented in the home. Access to the sun deck was a bonus, but the crowning jewel is the host herself, Lorrie; she goes the extra mile to welcome her guests. She offers pick up and drop off, she drove us around the main streets to help situate us and recommended excellent local restaurants and must-see. The food was very good but the company even better. Lorrie, we’ll be back!

This is a great little bed and breakfast. The room is very comfortable and the host is warm and welcoming. The home cooked breakfasts are delicious. We would definitely stay here if we were to ever return to Campbell River.

Laurie (the owner and host) is lovely and amazing. She was extremely welcoming and instantly made us feel at home. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast she put together for us was exactly what we needed each morning. Her home is brilliant and exactly what we imagined a B and B to be like. We loved our cosy room with a beautiful view. The room was very clean. Lory makes a really nice breakfast and she is a very warm person. There are nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. We will certainly go back.

Nothing to complain. Campbell River itself was not our favorite city, but the surroundings are great and totally worth a visit.

"Miss Money penny" Lorrie (I'm sorry if the spelling is not correct) is super nice and helpful and has many spectacular stories to tell. Breakfast is super yummy. The room is quite big and comfortable. Her dog is adorable cute. Make a tour to visit strathcona national park - it's so totally wild nature! We even saw a black bear there, beside deer and bald eagles :)

Very centrally located in Campbell River, but on a quiet side street. Easy to walk downtown in about 10 minutes, or literally a 60 second drive. Immaculate, large room with a great shower. Breakfasts were varied and tasty.

Lorrie is very welcoming, and her house is beautiful......the room we stayed in had everything we needed for our stay.....the bed is amazingly soft and comfy and the shower is huge! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious 😋 We highly recommend Money Pennies B&B, and would definitely look to stay again if in the area 😀

absolutely nothing

I had an outstanding stay at Lorri's home. I felt welcome from the very first moment. It was my first stop in Vancouver Island and I couldn't have wished for a better one. Lorri is amazing, so open and warm hearted. I really loved chatting with her and I felt like being home. Some more things to say: the breakfast was super delicious, the bed so comfortable and everything was clean. And... I loved sitting on the deck in the backyard. Everything was just incredible. Lorri, thank you so much for having me!

This is a fantastic b & b Lorries the owner lovely and very welcoming in to her home she also supplies a wonderful breakfast. If we ever come back to Campbell River we would love to stay here again.
