There was only 1 thing about the mini bar. One of the small bottles of wine were already opened on inspection and didn’t smell right so it was wasted. Some minor cracks to the marble tops on bedside table and desk but apart from that, rooms were spotless, good size and beds were comfy. Also great location 😊

Reception staff were so friendly and accommodating! Very efficient also! Restaurant staff also very friendly as well as housekeeping. Room spotless and bed comfy. I will stay again.

Trams run all day and night and could waken a light sleeper (not me)

We had a junior suite which was very large. The bed was really comfortable, The room was well cleaned with new towels after 2 days. Breakfast was largely continental cold meats and cheeses and croissants muffins etc but with scrambled and boiled eggs beans and sausages. There was plenty and enough choice for most people. The location was a little out of the centre but once you become accustomed to the tram network its was less than 10 mins from the old town.

This is a personal preference, but I would like a shower in the bathroom instead of a normal bathtub. This was missing, in my opinion.

The hotel was beatiful with a massive room, very spatious, even with a coffee machine, which they were gratious enough to give us some capsules. Still, there is a complementary coffee at the entrance. The staff was very helpful and respectful, and the breakfast had a great variety of foods, which were very tasty. Concerning location, it was a bit far from the town center, but if you like walking, it's still a nice walk, and public transportation is still available nearby.

In our room the wifi connection wasn’t very good, I guess it’s because we were on the last floor, but everything else was great!

The price for the dog to stay is 18€ per night, I find it too much. Only for the stay, no dog bed or bowl, etc. Light switches are in the room, but they didn't work, we had to switch on/off every lamp manually.

Door was strange, I couldnt close it, it had to close itself with really slow motion. In winter, when windows were open it was really cold, but with closed ones it was too warm. Set of cosmetics could be better.

Cosy room, bed was quite comfortable, with tea/coffee set. Breakfast was good, ingredients were of a good quality. 1 minute from there is a supermarket, it's not far from train station.

Breakfast was a bit below the standards of the hotel. Sweets were kind of old and cheap. The rest was just pretty basic. I would have expected better from a four star hotel like Carlton.

A small amount of noise from the room next door could be heard in the bathroom, but it didn't affect our sleep.

Even though the hotel is a little older, it still has a lot of charm. The room was comfortable, spacious and warm (in the middle of winter) and the bathroom was of a decent size and clean. The breakfast options were excellent, with a bevy of savoury and sweet options to choose from in the lovely cellar setting. Very comfortable lounge area to relax in, and the English-speaking staff were pleasant to deal with. The Hotel is between 2 tram stops, and it's only a few stops to get into the Old Town. A good value stay in one of Europe's most beautiful cities.

Very spacious and comfortable room. Dining area can be busy and the table/chair layout is not the best one. Breakfast buffet was OK - nothing extraordinary. Use public transport - conveniente location close to main train station.

The temperature control in the room wasn't working so I think it was centralized and we couldn't change the temperature of the room. It was a bit hot in the middle of the night.
