Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

LithuaniaView and pool. Great people, nice communication, very good cuisine. The hotel is on the oceanfront. Just one step and you open up a wonderful coral world full of life: fish and turtles. I recommend this hotel to those who are interested in diving or snorkeling.

We had a bungalow with a view of the pool, ocean and palm trees. Just beautiful. Lovely huge room with a big comfortable bed with a couch and tv area and another single bed if needed. Big windows with curtains you could open up and see our beautiful views. As the property started from the road and went down to the water, I loved our bungalow being near the water, 2 pools, day spa and restaurant. Beautiful food. Other accommodation was available on the steeper part of the property which was fine. Snorkelling straight out the front which was very handy.

United StatesThis is petty, but I wish they'd keep water refilled in the room. But filtered water is available in the restaurant.
Spacious rooms and ocean views. 2 lovely pools with a baskets for photos. One pool.is more private and there areprolly 25 lounge chairs! Snorkeling offshore and within a 10 min drive. A very generous breakfast. Great restaurant menu! Nearby restaurants like Sails. My 4th stay here, most often with groups!

AustraliaThe bed was really hard. There are so many steps due to the resort being built into the cliff side which can be annoying but also adds to the beauty of the property. If you rely on a wheelchair or walking aids, or if you have mobility issues or blown knees, this is not the place for you. You need transport to get to anywhere, the hotel easily organises lifts, there are always local drivers around to take you back.
We pretty much loved everything! The views were spectacular, we had a one bedroom apartment/villa over looking the ocean and one of the pools. The included breakfast was exactly what we needed. The staff are so very nice, accomodating, pleasant and kind. We were there during the off season so there were very few guests. Even though it was the rainy season, we really enjoyed the weather, there is plenty of cover to shelter from the rain and watch the spectacular thunderstorms. The menu on offer for lunch and dinner is varied and the food is very good overall. Excellent value for money. My husband went on a few dives with the dive shop attached. They were very well organised, very friendly and accommodating. Although the beach is narrow, black rock, if you come prepared with beach/water shoes it’s a nice swim and you can go snorkelling. Great base for cultural tours. There’s a small supermarket and pharmacy just outside the resort to the left. The on site spa offers wonderful massage services with a beautiful selection of oils to choose from. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. I can recommend this resort highly enough, I have left a small piece of my heart here.

I love the view of the ocean. Staff were really friendly. Restaurant was yummy. The breakfast was great, satay was awesome. A 5 minute walk from another warung and 15 minutes to Lipah Beach. Had a lovely time ordering beers and eating food. Staff organised a driver to pick us up from Seminyak I would stay here again. Air conditioner was quiet. We could borrow umbrellas and take them out

AustraliaUnfortunately the bed was very soft and uncomfortable. The location is far away from many restaurants or cafes (besides one local nice Italian restaurant which I’d recommend). The power and water in the room were turned off multiple times during our stay. This is a bit of a bummer after coming back from an ocean swim and wanting to have a shower and turn on the AC to cool down. I’m not sure if this was happening due to nearby construction at the time, but there was no communication or apology about these blackouts from the staff. The included breakfast was just okay and there were many flies in the dining area.
The room was very spacious and included a mini fridge and tv to watch Netflix on. The view from our room was very pretty and the snorkelling right in front of the hotel was great! Our snorkelling and fishing boat guides were also able to drop us off right on the beachfront of the hotel which was very convenient. The main appeal of this place is if you’re interested in diving, snorkelling, or fishing. Otherwise there isn’t much to do nearby. The rooms are a bit outdated but overall good value for money.

Great place to stay. Good food. Helpful staff. Filtered drinking water at the hotel -you just have to ask a staff member about it. Our room was tidied up every day. The beach is right at the front of the hotel and it is a great snorkelling spot(we saw turtles, rays, millions of fish).

SwedenThe personnel could be more service minded. They were nice but not very accommodating.
We enjoyed the stay. The room was clean and we had a nice terrace. The reef outside the hotel was very good and we saw sea turtles, loads of nice corals and fish. The breakfast at the hotel was very fresh and nice. Some of the personnel did not know much English but we manage to communicate fairly well. The restaurant has also nice evening food. However they charge 20% for service. It therefore cost a bit more than other places at Bali. On the other hand the food is very fresh and they use nice ingredients. It is not as spicy as in other places we have eaten at in Bali, which is a pity as I like spicy food. Overall it is a nice and well maintained resort but a bit far and remote from other restaurants, beaches and people. The road outside the hotel is very busy which makes it a bit challenging to walk to Amed or Lipah beach. Neither is it possible to walk along the coast. If you like to eat at the same place every meal and stay at the hotel snorkling or go for dive trips this is the place for you but if you like to be there the party and people are this is probably too far away…

CanadaThe staff really make this a vacation to remember.
Fantastic people. The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The property is a bit on the outskirts of Amed, which suited us perfectly. The food at the hotel was good and well priced, the management staff were warm and welcoming. The hotel arranged a wicked driver for us who took us from Amed to many stops and then to Denpasar for a great price. But the dive staff, that's where this place really shined! We had a series of Fantastic dives with a very knowledgeable dive master and despite the rain we were able to see turtles, scorpion fish, octopus, sea snakes and vast beautiful coral array, with all the accompanying colorful fish. All in all, it's absolutely an amazing place to stay and would 1000% come back.
