Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomTiny amountnof building work while we were there, but where isn't there in Ubud and it didn't really bother us much at all.
Really enjoyable stay, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the spa was fantastic, as was the restaurant. Great swimming pool with nice views and towels provided so didn't need to take up luggage space. It's down a small private road so very quiet but still only moments from the streets of ubud, a perfect mix. Over all a really great spot with excellent service.

GermanyIf you want to visit the rest of Ubud, the location is a bit further away. We had a 4 month old with us, and that was a bit incovenient. The room was a bit more outdated than how it looked like on the pictures.
The pools were absolutely amazing (yes, there are two!), the breakfast was nice and the room was also nice. The staff was superfriendly, instantly knowing us by first name. The location is good for visiting the Monkey Forest, it's a bit further away from other tourist spots.

New ZealandThere was some construction happening that I wasn’t made aware of when booking. That said the staff did an excellent job of containing it and noise was minimal.
Great location in central ubud but tucked down a lane away from all the noise. Overlooking the rice fields. Staff are super friendly and accomodating. Pool & swim up bar and onsite spa treatments excellent.

United KingdomUnfortunately, I stood on a broken wine glass in the swimming pool. The staff were quick to close the pool down and clean the pool. I would also prefer to have a few other coffee options included in the breakfast. Currently, only bali coffee is included.
We love Artini, and this is the second time we have stayed. The staff are great, so helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect when needed to get into the hustle and bustle of Ubud. We wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back. They are currently doing a few works so there are a few more steps than usual but it was not a problem for us. We can't wait to see what the hotel will look like after the upgrades.

AustraliaThe breakfast could be better. Cereal was stale, only 1 kind of bread and they didn’t put enough ingredients in omelette. Also, lots of construction going on at the time.

Pool- Get a chance to swim in the pool during my last day. What an experience to swim with beautiful coconut tree view. The pool not that deep. Breakfast- At first I planned to have breakfast outside, but change my plan. Guess what? That's the best decision ever. Breakfast is so good with variety selection of food. There even got Nasi Uduk. Worth the money!!! Room- Very comfortable with good view of greenery. I spend most of my time in Ubud just laying in my bed instead of going. Location- In the centre of Ubud. Nearby Monkey Forest and Ubud Art Market. Even Though the alley located on busy road, but the hotel is very peaceful .

United KingdomWe liked everything!
We had such a wonderful time at The Artini Dijiwa. The staff are all so friendly and helpful, particularly Ayuita, Dewi and Emmanuel - they always greet you with a smile. The hotel itself is stunning - it’s even better than the photos suggest; the main pool with bar is such a great place to relax in the sun. Our room (rice paddy view) was really spacious and comfortable and the aircon kept us cool. The location is perfect - it’s really close to the action and excitement of Ubud but it’s set back from the road, so you can’t hear any traffic whatsoever. We had treatments at the spa, which were so relaxing, too. You get so much value for money here, I’m very sad to be leaving and I would recommend it to anybody staying in Ubud 😄

BulgariaThe place was my home for a week. The location is very central and you would have access to the best restaurants while still being secluded in a quiet street, where you would feel at peace.

AustraliaThe design of the hotel and rooms was quite open, which was nice, however this did mean that there were often ants and geckos in the room. Rooms weren’t vacuumed during cleaning so after a few days the floors got quite dirty.
Property was in beautiful location and very close to a lot of restaurants out on the Main Street. Front desk staff were very lovely, always welcoming you back and very helpful. Breakfast was good but quite small

IrelandAbsolutely beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff were beyond helpful! The hotel is an excellent location on the main road in ubud but the large grounds of the hotel mean you don’t hear the hussle and bussle from the road! I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough! The staff alone make the experience so special! Also the pictures do not do it justice!!

SwedenA little out of the way from Ubud centre but that can be a positive away from the hectic traffic and thongs of tourists.
Beautiful oasis of calm and tranquility. Stunning ground, friendly staff and gorgeous rooms where Balinese architecture is beautiful and pervades throughout the rooms. The two pools are set in gorgeous surroundings. Would highly recommend it.

BelgiumThe breakfast is nice but nothing special and one day when we haven’t had it included we discovered amazing and greater value places just outside the resort (with cool granola bowls, amazing coffee - my daughter had a yummy matcha latte and yummy fruit juices) so I wouldn’t take the breakfast at the hotel if you can have it not included.
It’s a beautiful resort with lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, awesome views from the balconies, very quiet (not a given in Bali with all the crazy traffic and the thousands scooters), cool pools and lively staff (Puspita was very helpful and attentive and very nice staff that welcomed us at 2am when we arrived!)

United StatesThe fruit was a bit sour. It was probably because it was very hot and the fruit is not on ice to keep it cold.

FranceI had an amazing time at the Artini and a wonderfull experience with the staff. I came in rush, last minute after having trouble at an homestay, they arrange everything for me so kindly. The place is so peaceful, you hear running water from a small river, birds chirping in the middle of coconut trees and rice fields. I couldn’t have made a better choice. The breakfast is delicious, choice between western and Indo food. The room is spacious, very clean, view stunning and bedding really comfortable..and I am picky. I will definitely pick this place when I will come back. Thank you to all the Artini Dijiwa Staff
