Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The air condition units blowing into the pool was not ideal and likely a design flaw that has nothing to do with the current Found Re management.
The room design was great for a respite from the summer heat. The downstairs bar, cafe and goods for sale were great. Appreciate the complimentary day pass for the train.

Could use a little more parking availability.
It was very clean and modern, and had a totally different feel to it than most hotels. The bar and shop were also a nice addition, especially the complimentary coupon. It was very close to other bars and restaurants in the area as well as the train if you had intentions to travel elsewhere.

We didn’t notice the sign and had to walk around to find the entrance. But maybe that was the vibe they were going with ? We were not quite sure about the area . We didn’t know if it was safe to walk around at night .
The property had art work all over . I loved the focus on that . The property was very modern and had a unique look. I also like the fact the the elevators only work with a key card . I felt safe knowing that . The restaurant and bar on the main floor was so nice ! The staff was wonderful and I felt they wanted us to be comfortable with an at home feel .

The television didn’t gave a Netflix app, and the elevator was a little slow.
I loved how low key the hotel was, the aesthetic was also very pleasing! They had a fridge and microwave and was 10 minutes from everything. The bed and bedding were soooo comfortable!

The food in the restaurant is not that good. I would definitely eat somewhere else.

The room was decorated well and comfortable. The food and drink was good and the Bartenders were friendly. The location is fantastic within walking distance of popular restaurants, coffee shops and the Japanese Gardens.

There wasn't anything that I was dissatisfied with.
The bed was comfortable, the room was nice and cold. also the room was very clean, the shower was amazing, the art was outstanding, the whole experience was fantastic. Absolutely our favorite hotel to stay at.

I was totally disappointed with the handicapp parking. If it wasn’t for Julie and security I don’t think I would have made it inside. It should have been the closest to the front entrance.
No breakfast but I’m sure it was also excellent.

We had an issue with the late check out that we requested. Apparently it wasn't communicated. And the lady at the desk couldn't care less about our request and said no She called us back and and said it we could check out late. We didn't like the enteraction, so we decided to leave. We discussed it with the manager an she gave us no response at all. We requested the late check out the night we checked in, and maybe on the website. Our stay was great, it just ended weird.
Most of your staff are great, they are very attentive, and made our stay very comfortable. We loved the suite we stayed in. The location is convenient, it's in a beautiful neighborhood.

The hotel still has the deposit authorization on hold on my credit card several days after my stay.

Everyone here are the nicest people and front desk last night got us an extension and a great discount. When we told him we had to extend because our brother was still in hospital he arranged for a nice discount. Again all staff have been wonderful!!
