Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

KuwaitThere was nothing to dislike. We left happy with wonderful memories. We are grateful to all the staff and the hotel management.
I was on Kuwait clock the first time I reached the hotel. During the first few days I was up by 4am NYC time. What I liked the most is seeing the person at reception called Ms. Daysi with her shining bright smiling face being available for help. I am thankful to Ms. Daysi for giving us the joyful beginning of our stay at Placemakr. We also liked the security of the building, which was our top concern. We loved the laundry. We played a lot in the laundry with our children. I am glad I had the opportunity of honing my girl's ping pong and billiard skills :). The cleaning staff, though spoke only Spanish, where also very helpful. The vicinity of the building to so many touristic attractions and to ferries, bus, stations is also remarkable. We made a lot of memories in our 2 weeks stay. We will most certainly make this our permanent place to stay on our visits to NYC.

IndonesiaCan't think of that
The location is in financial district of nyc, in wall street area lower manhattan. There are 3 subway stations (wall st., broad st., rector st.) and 1 pier (pier 12/wall street) near the property so it's very easy to explore around the city and go to/from JFK airport. The property is walking distance to wtc and 911 memorial fountain, city hall, brooklyn bridge, staten island ferry pier and statue of liberty cruise pier. My room was quite spacious with sofa/foldable wall bed and also complete kitchen such as fridge, microwave, sink and stove. There are common kitchen, open rooftop terrace, gym room and laundry room. The property is clean and well organized, i can keep my luggage in front desk before check in and after check out.

United StatesMaybe a small TV in the bedroom would be nice.
I stayed at this spot with my two boys, ages 8 and 11 for a solid week in a one bedroom gourmet room. We had the best stay! Loved the hood and the staff. We bought roller skate attachments for the kid's shoes and needed a screwdriver to intall them. The engineering Dept. showed up and put the skates on both pairs of shoes for me. Extremely kind and helpful. We felt at home in this space with the kitchen and the big table. The showers had great water pressure and we loved hanging out in the laundry room with the ping pong table. I was worried about being so far downtown but the neighborhood felt so chill and welcoming with Battery Park and the Seaport being right around the corner. Also, the red line is one long block away and gets uptown in 10-15 minutes. LOVED IT

United StatesSome parts looked like they needed maintenance—though the maintenance worker seemed to be busy working the hotel. The community kitchens were not equally and properly stocked. For example, the kitchen on the 23rd floor only had knives and no teflon cooking pans. Also, the induction stoves in the rooms were terrible…no temperature control, hard to cook on.
Super friendly and attentive staff, two days of complimentary breakfast (coffee, pastry and fruit) from the coffee shop in the lobby, free laundry access, excellent location! only 5-10 minutes from multiple subway stops and close walking distance to the Staten Island Ferry and Seaport.

SwedenThe bed could have been a little more comfy, it didnt need to be a Murphy bed as the room was so spacious anyway. There was a lack of lighting by the bed. Nothing else.
Surpassed my expectations! New York hotels are usually overpriced and the rooms are minute! This hotel was good value for money, and even though I booked the smallest room it was really spacious!! I could cartwheel in that room, I didnt, but yoga mat rolled out nicely! Great little kitchenette and bathroom fresh modern and spacious. I even had view of the water. The gym was great, common areas perfect for do-working. Friendly staff at reception. Would def go back again and recommend

FinlandNothing to complain about except that the price for the apartment was high even by New York standard :-)
We (one adult + three grown-up/teenage children) had a wonderful 4-bedroom apartment with all necessary equipment and plenty of space. The apartment was very clean and the four-day package included daily cleaning. Extra plus for a well-equipped fitness centre, guest laundry and a nice outside terrace area with barbeque equipment for the benefit of the guests. 24/7 reception there to help you out at any time.

GermanyCan't think of anything. Would have loved to stay there longer!
I have stayed in so many hotels in NY, and this was among the best ever, I'd say. I loved the co-living vibe, common spaces, great laundry facilities, etc. I used the little privacy booth a number of times since I was in town for work. And our huge common kitchen area was spacious and we used it a lot. I have never encountered such positive, helpful and energetic staff members. They seemed genuinely happy to be there, and always at the ready to answer questions. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Our teenager adored the sleeping nook with the curtains for privacy. I have to admit that I was scared of the Murphy bed but it just took a few seconds to open it, and it was very comfortable. I have lived in almost every neighborhood in Manhattan, as well as in Jersey City; Wall Street is a little bit out of the way, but I would trade in being more uptown with being by the water anytime. What's great is that nearly every subway line comes to Wall Street so you almost never have to transfer trains. The whole Tin Building/Pier 17 area has developed a lot, so there were good places to eat very close by. All in all, an amazing stay that we will definitely repeat.

United StatesWe couldn’t find the light switch for the kitchen light, so the first night we slept with that light on. The next day the engineer showed us where it was.
The location was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The room was enough for the three of us.

We were blown away by our beautiful apartment with a view of the river, everything was perfect. We highly recommend and will be visiting again soon! The location by the water is ideal as you're really central but out of the thick of it, excellent places to eat around the Hudson river and boat trips. THANK YOU Placemkr!!
