“The location is convenient — close to the subway and shops (HMart, 7/11, Target).
However, the room was extremely small and quite run-down for six people.
There are very few kitchen utensils, so if you plan to cook, be prepared.
Taking the elevator was often a challenge because it was always crowded.
I doubt we would choose this place again.”
“Check in process was smooth. We were met by Elizabeth and was taken to the apartment.
The location is in a nice neighborhood with plenty of places to eat and grocery store within walking distance.
The unit is in level 4 and no lift. The apartment was clean with wooden floors, the floor area from behind the couch towards the bedroom was quite creaky and had gaps.
The middle bedroom with no window was very quiet. While the other two bedrooms with windows are not so- one had an outside view where you can hear the vehicles passing and one where you hear a constant humming sound coming from outside.
The washing machine and drier was very nice to have.”
“Check in process was smooth. We were taken to the apartment and was oriented to the place.
The apartment is situated in the 3rd floor and no lift. If you are travelling with heavy luggages you have to take this into account.
There are lots of places to eat nearby. It is very close to the subway (F train).
The area was busy, you can hear loud music, conversations and honking cars through out the night - this was not evident in the daytime. We stayed over from Friday to Tuesday.
The drainage in the shower and kitchen sink was very slow. If you use the dishwasher the water would drain into the sink which is right next to it. A few days into our stay the kitchen sink completely blocked. The staff were responsive when we told of the issue, however the issue was not resolved during our stay- we left on a Tuesday morning.”
“The staff were amazingly friendly and nothing was a bother for them. They answered our questions with a smile. We found the room a little cold and they provided a heater for the room and when the toilet wouldn’t flush properly they came and sorted it out straight away. I used the washing machine and dryer down in the basement and when I went down to put my clothes into the dryer the lady who was washing the hotel linen put my clothes into the dryer for me. The cleaning staff were also friendly.
The kitchenette was the perfect size and we were able make breakfast every morning and we had plenty of plates and cutlery
The beds were comfortable and the couch bed was comfortable.
The location was spot on as it was just around the corner from Times Square and there is an pizza and Italian restaurant either side of the hotel and a cafe that makes toasties/wraps and salad 2 doors down from the hotel.
Got from jfk airport using the e train in the space of a hour. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
Thank you to the staff our we enjoyed New York and staying in radio city apartments made it even more enjoyable
Ps: the hotel is beautiful, building has been updated but kept the feel of old New York”
“Decently located in yonkers. Near lots of bars and Delhi's. Owner was friendly and helpful..clean and comfortable. The only negative is its a sofa bed.”
