Tell you the truth, not a thing. The location, next to a bubbling brook with the beautiful sound it makes is very relaxing. The property is not close to any other houses, so it feels like you have the whole place to yourself and is very private. Every detail makes the stay more enjoyable - the front porch, the living area, the kitchen, the bedroom, the bathroom - everything was very well thought out.

The owner sent us a message and left the key in the door. Plus he disclosed a secret location outside where a spare key is hidden.

Nothing! The bathroom, the kitchen, the bedroom, the family room were al lsuper clean and everything worked exceptionally well.

The location of this property couldn't be better - easy to access and surrounded by nature, serene and calming. The property itself is amazing - super clean, comfortable and so much was put in creating a mountain lodge atmosphere. So many little details that are suttle yet impressive. This property is a rare find.

So many good things to say about this place. Very cozy and super clean! Pet friendly space where ou can bring your bestfriend🐾 and just very peaceful! The decorations are so beautiful you can say they really did a great job with it! Didn’t want to leave.. And the most unforgettable night in my life happened here, so this house means so much to me. Nothing - I wish we’d booked one more night! Some people might be averse to the host’s living space being attached to the cottage but it was not a problem at all - very private and nice to have the host if any questions came up.

Everything! Not too far from Phonecia and easy to find. Immaculate, beautiful inside and out, responsive host, nice touches that made us feel very much welcomed and at home. Cozy, comfortable bed. Daren was full of suggestions in where to shop for groceries, dining and hiking options and helpful to answer any questions. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend! Although the area is ideal, it is on a dangerous intersection as is marked by a sign. There’s quite a bit of vehicles coming and going. While it did not affect our peace nor our sleep, it is a busy road.

It is a cozy, and very comfortable place to stay in the mountains. The host was friendly, welcoming and very responsive. The apartment was super clean with all we needed. The shower was wonderful and the bed was just right for a relaxing slumber.

Panther Mountain Lodge is a great place to kick back and relax. It’s also central to many hiking trails and walking paths- a perfect base if you’re planning a more active getaway. As others have said, coffee on the porch each morning watching the hummingbirds birds and an adorable family of dear was therapeutic. Darren is a very friendly and accommodating host. We plan to return!

The apartment was more like a perfect upstate cabin. It was home away from home. Immaculately clean, well maintained, perfectly appointed, warm and cozy. Will definitely stay here in the future! Thank you very much for a great place to lay our weary heads after a full day of skiing.

This is an amazing place for family and romantic getaways, as well as for solo travelers wanting to enjoy breathtaking nature just a two-hour drive from bustling New York. My wife and I spent two days here, and Daren's place turned out to be one of the best we've been to, though we've visited over 20 states with various apartments and houses! It's an incredibly peaceful and cozy place, well thought out to the smallest detail. Daren made sure we lacked nothing and felt at home. Very clean, pleasantly smelling of wood, lots of entertainment from a collection of movies and books to board games. Very nice and new bathroom, cute details in the kitchen like cocoa with marshmallows, clean dishes, a comfortable bed, incredibly soft sofas, warm blankets – the list goes on. Lots of useful things like local guides, books about Catskills, maps, and so on. The location is convenient, just minutes away from an excellent diner with delicious breakfast. Easy access to famous destinations like Kaaterskill Falls, Woodstock, Catskill, and many other popular places for walking, hiking, skiing, and so on! The views of nature are mesmerizing! We can firmly say that we want to come back again, and this is definitely one of the best vacations in our life!

The WIFI was not working for most of our stay so we were unable to use our laptops which was a little disappointing. The bed was uncomfortable and way too soft. The host assured that he was planning on replacing the mattress.

The apartment is very clean and the host offers several extra comforts such as paper products, coffee and snacks. It is dog friendly as there are dog bowls and towels at the front door and the yard is large enough for running and playing although it is not fenced in. The host is very friendly and informative about the area.
