Very clean, well maintained room. Having the washer/dryer was really nice to have as this was our 1/2 way point in our trip. Walking distance to several good restaurants and grocery store. Close proximity to airport and bus station.

Boasting a shared lounge, bar and views of city, Poshtel is situated in Oamaru, 38 km from Moeraki Boulders. The accommodation features luggage storage space and free WiFi throughout the property. we had an apartment with a separate entry and it was awesome. The character of the place was great, having kept the vault door in the bedroom made it really unique. The decor in the lobby and the historical artefacts of Oamaru was really interesting. The breakfast concept also suited us very well. All in all, it’s a very well designed boutique hotel with very nice and attentive staff. Definitely worth the stop.

The rooms, gardens, and bar were all very comfortable and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping here if you are driving through Cardrona.

The property itself was lovely, tranquil, and romantic. Rooms were super clean and comfy. The food at the lodge restaurant was excellent. The staff members (all of them) were truly exceptional. Welcoming, kind, and thoughtful people. The evening wine tasting was superb. Our host was engaging and very knowledgeable about all of the wines from the region. She made us feel welcome.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and really aim to make ones stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you are travelling around Queenstown/Wanaka, the Cardrona Hotel absolutely should be at the top of your list of places to stay.
