    “Hotel has probably the best location in Thamel - quiet and at the same time close to the center. The owner, Mr. Rabin, was very welcoming and helped us a lot with information on Annapurna hike we were going to. The staff is very polite and caring, the breakfast is really tasty, a transfer from the airport included :) Really good value for the price.”

    “We stumbled upon this hotel by accident. It seemed like a good budget option. Little did we know what a wonderful experience we would have. The staff is very friendly and the manager, Sudip Bhatta, is a gem. He makes you feel welcome and is very kind and helpful. He helped us prepare for our hike & we could borrow a bunch of stuff we did not have (like walking sticks). We could store our stuff at the hotel while we were on our hike. We’ve taken a few multi day trips in Nepal and we keep coming back. It feels like coming home in Kathmandu. Something we did not expect to find. Thank you for this great experience!”

    “The hotel is quite nice. I think the breakfast is really good and the staff takes good care of you. I think it’s a little run down for the price they charge. The spa area really needs an upgrade and could use more frequent cleaning. The rooms as well could use some upgrades, given that they charge a premium price. One night I was woken up at 4am because they had a fault in their fire alarm so that wasn’t pleasant.”

    “The Oasis Hotel is a haven from the busyness of Kathmandu. Set in a peaceful street in Thamel with a garden eating area, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The hotel management are so very organized, efficient and hospitable and that helpful approach is reflected in the staff as well. Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need. Breakfast is varied and tasty and the restaurant is very good as well. Highly recommended!”
