Amazing property at the most reasonable price. Clean, brand new rooms, most comfortable bed, large balcony overlooking a bamboo forest with the sounds of a rushing stream below. And even better, I cannot say enough good things about the owner!! Made us dinner even though the kitchen was closed after arriving late in the night, arranged an amazing and well priced Ljen tour for us, lent me Indonesian dollars when I had none left AND even drove me to the airport in his personal car when I was so late I would have missed my flight! He makes you feel like you’re at home. Stay here you won’t regret it!!

Upgraded our room because of our special celebration and gave us a call when the room was ready. * Great bed and pillows for good sleep. * Great view from the window! * The gym was decent and the swimming pool was splendid!

Plataran Bromo has free bikes, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Bromo. The property is located 14 miles from Mount Bromo, 28 miles from Araya Golf & Family Club and 30 miles from Velodrome Malang. Oh where do I start? Everything was perfect and exceeding our expectations. The welcoming "ceremony" was memorable and since we booked a suite our checked in was done in a special lounge area for suite guests. This lounge area is perfectly decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We then got upgraded to Premiere Suite which was superb. One thing we noticed from day one is the present of soothing aromatherapy everywhere in the hotel. Could you let me know what aromatherapy is that? Furthermore the choices of food and beverages are diverse and delicious. We do aware that the food price is rather high but this is worth it since the food and drinks are of high quality. Additionally, given the hotel's location and its 5 stars status the price of the food and beverages are not exorbitant. We love the location and environment of the hotel.. It was an unforgettable vacation for both of us and we are looking forward to come back to Plataran Bromo!

Inspired by the styles of the colonial era, Hotel Tugu Malang is located in East Java. We spent 3 nights at Tugu Malang in January 2025 and found it to be the perfect base for visiting Mt Bromo and it was within walking distance to the Chinese temple and local flower markets. They served a complimentary afternoon tea each day with various local treats and a range of herbal teas which were delicious - most of the treats came from the neighbouring bakery that is also worth a visit. We liked the furnishings in our room and the toiletries were top notch. They provided fresh fruit in our room on a daily basis and we had fresh flowers which were a lovely touch. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel contains a treasure trove of artworks and antiques and well worth an exploration. We loved our meals at the hotel restaurants, especially SaigonSan. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We were so lucky to get an upgrade to Avery beautiful room. Very striking historic hotel. Breakfast was excellent. The personell was helpful and very attentive. Playing the piano in the restaurant was great.

This 2-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. -Warm greeting from the owner, they manage everything since we came late for check-in. -Clean and comfortable as ambience just like our own house. -Hot water isn't available inside the room, but they provide the facility to have it outside. Really helpful because we travel with a baby.
